
The National Council of Women’s Societies (NCWS), Enugu State Council, celebrates the first lady of Enugu State, Mrs. Nkechinyere Mbah, alongside women across the state in commemoration of International Women’s Day.
In a congratulatory message signed by the State President, Lady Dr. Anthonia Chinenyenwa Ogbu, the council commended the First Lady for her dedication to humanitarian service and her unwavering commitment to the empowerment and welfare of women, families, and communities in the state.
The statement noted that the compassionate leadership and advocacy of the governor’s wife have continued to inspire hope and strengthen initiatives aimed at advancing the interests of women and promoting social development.
The council also used the occasion to recognize the resilience, hard work, and vision of women across Enugu State, describing them as vital contributors to the social, economic, and moral development of the state.
