The Omeiheukwu Support Group (OSG) has expressed deep appreciation to the people of Greater Awgu and its supporters across various communities for their continuous prayers, goodwill messages, and steadfast support in its bid for a second term in the House of Representatives.
In a formal statement released by the group, OSG described the overwhelming show of solidarity from constituents as both humbling and energizing, noting that such encouragement remains central to its commitment to effective representation and service delivery.
The group also acknowledged the presence of multiple political interests within the constituency, describing it as a reflection of democratic maturity. According to the statement, the existence of alternative aspirants underscores the strength of democracy and the importance of healthy political competition in driving development and accountability.
A key highlight of the statement was the group’s special commendation to the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for his confidence in its principal and for recognizing him as a valuable member of his broader political and administrative structure. OSG described the Governor’s support as a strong affirmation of leadership trust and progressive collaboration.
On internal party dynamics, the group noted that recent disagreements within the All Progressives Congress (APC) have been resolved, paving the way for renewed unity and collective focus. It emphasized that stakeholders are now aligned toward a common objective of delivering the party’s flagbearers at all levels.
The statement further extended appreciation to both supporters and critics alike, stating that constructive engagement whether in support or opposition has played a vital role in strengthening democratic dialogue and improving political responsiveness.
Reaffirming its guiding principles, the group called for sustained unity, cooperation, and mutual respect among all stakeholders as the political journey progresses.
“Let love lead. We move again,” the statement concluded, adding, “To God be the glory.”
