Across Aninri, Awgu and Oji-River Federal Constituency, the story of purposeful representation is increasingly reflected in projects and initiatives touching infrastructure, healthcare, education, empowerment and human capital development.
From the Achi–Mmaku Link Road to the Uhuagu–Orie Awgu, Umuenem–Ezinesi and Ibite roads, strategic road interventions are helping connect communities, improve mobility and create a stronger environment for commerce and economic activity.
In healthcare, the ongoing rehabilitation of Achi Joint Hospital, the modern hospital project at Akpugoeze, the provision of a solar-powered inverter system to ESUT Teaching Hospital, Nnenwe Annex, Aninri LGA, Cottage Hospital, Inyi, Oji-River LGA and advocacy for a Federal Medical Centre in Achi demonstrate attention to the wellbeing of the people.
The investment in human capital is equally significant. Educational support has reached 240 students, while 22 postgraduate students have benefited from Msc scholarships. Skills acquisition, agricultural support, sports development and economic empowerment programmes further provide opportunities for constituents to build capacity and pursue sustainable livelihoods.
This is a broader vision of development—connecting communities, strengthening institutions, investing in people and creating opportunities for the future.
