A Calculated Step for Greater Impact: Hon. Prof. Nnamchi Declares APC Defection at Ugwogo Nike Ward 12 Amid Cheers, Cultural Festivity

The Member Representing Enugu East and Isi-Uzo Federal Constituency, Hon. Prof. Paul Sunday Nnamchi, paid an unscheduled visit to Ugwogo Nike Ward 12 to formally announce his defection from the Labour Party to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The visit, which was greeted with a mammoth turnout of constituents and supporters, was filled with unprecedented fanfare and cultural displays.

Dressed in traditional regalia, Hon. Prof. Nnamchi electrified the atmosphere with familiar political chants before delivering his message of appreciation to his timing supporters s well as faithfuls for their solidarity.

The Federal lawmaker used the opportunity to officially confirm his transition to the APC, stating that the move was a politically calculated decision made in the best interest of his constituents.

He emphasized that, “effective leadership sometimes requires strategic alignment with the powers that be to deliver meaningful development and positively impact the preppie you are representing”.

Prof. Nnamchi referenced the recent presidential assent to the Bill establishing the Federal University of Agriculture, Ako-Nike, as a testament to the wisdom of his decision to decamp to the ruling party.

He assured his people that under the APC, the dividends of democracy would reach them timely and bountifully. He encouraged the people of Ugwogo Nike Ward and the entire constituency to align with President Bola Ahmed’s administration.
