
Chief Hon. Comr. Chijioke Udemezue Okoh (Ejuenyim Umuezeani) and his wife, Chief Mrs. Chijioke Udemezue Okoh (Enyi Di Ya Umuezeani), have expressed profound joy and gratitude following their conferment with chieftaincy titles by their hometown, Umunonu Umuezeani, Ugwogo Nike.

The couple was honoured during the community’s annual cultural celebration, where Chief Hon. Comr. Okoh was installed as Ejuenyim Umuezeani, while his wife was titled Enyi Di Ya Umuezeani, a name that collectively symbolizes a succur to heavy burden, friendship, loyalty, and selfless commitment. The titles reflect not only marital harmony but also a shared dedication to the peace, unity, and development of Umuezeani community.



In their message of appreciation, the couple thanked the people of Umunonu Umuezeani for the trust and confidence reposed in them, and expressed special gratitude to the ruler and custodian of the land; Eze 1, Rt. Hon. Chief Joseph Agbo Ugwumba (Eze Odenigbo Nike and Eze Umuezeani), for finding them worthy of such a revered honour.


Chief Hon. Comr. Chijioke Udemezue Okoh described the conferment as a call to higher responsibility, pledging that he and his family would continue to serve as worthy ambassadors of peace, unity, and progress for Umunonu Umuezeani. He emphasized that the honour strengthens their resolve to contribute meaningfully to community development and harmonious coexistence.
He further encouraged sons and daughters of Umuezeani, both at home and in the diaspora, to take pride in their community, remain positively disposed towards her, and uphold her good name wherever they find themselves.
According to him, Umunonu Umuezeani is a land blessed with abundant opportunities, whose greatness can only be sustained through collective goodwill, positive engagement, and love for the homeland.


The couple reaffirmed their commitment to the values of service, humility, and friendship, noting that the chieftaincy honour will remain a constant reminder of their bond with the people and traditions of Umunonu Umuezeani, Ugwogo Nike.
