The Traditional Ruler of Ishienu Amofu Nkerefi, His Royal Highness Igwe Michael Christian Ogbonnaya, has expressed heartfelt congratulations to the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, and the good people of Enugu State on the historic launch of Enugu Air, the state’s new airline initiative.

According to the royal father, Enugu Air stands as a symbol of progress, unity, and the audacity of vision. He was quoted as saying:
“This feat is a clear reflection of the Governor’s resolve to industrialize Enugu State, attract investors, and create opportunities for our teeming youth. By this singular act, His Excellency has further distinguished himself as a trailblazer who is leading Enugu into a new era of prosperity.”
HRH Ogbonnaya also commended the citizens of Enugu State for their resilience, support for the administration, and collective embrace of a progressive agenda. He urged them to continue rallying behind the governor and to leverage the opportunities that Enugu Air will present in commerce, tourism, and inter-state connectivity.
He further added: “As a traditional institution, we are solidly behind this noble venture. Enugu Air is not just a project of the government; it is the pride of the people. It tells our story of excellence and ambition.”
The Traditional Ruler concluded his remarks by praying for continued wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for Governor Mbah and his administration, assuring him of the support and blessings of the traditional rulers across the state.
