Executive Chairman of ENSUBEB, Assoc. Prof. Hyginus Banko Okibe, explained that the decision followed discussions with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and was based on assurances that the combined participation of candidates from Enugu East, Enugu North, Aninri, and Awgu would not hinder the smooth and inclusive conduct of the examinations.
Teachers have been directed to strictly follow all instructions issued by TRCN examiners and ENSUBEB supervisors during the exercise. Head Teachers and ENSUBEB staff will be on ground to conduct screening of candidates at the centres.
While regretting any inconvenience caused by the short notice, ENSUBEB expressed appreciation for the sacrifices made by teachers in terms of comfort and resources. “We assure you of our solidarity and empathy in everything that concerns you,” the Board stated.
ENSUBEB urged all affected teachers to take note of the new date and prepare accordingly to ensure a seamless and successful exercise.
