He noted that the empowerment programme was part of his long-standing resolve to give back to the people who entrusted him with leadership, stressing that all interventions carried out through the foundation remain strictly non-political.

In his remarks, Hon. Engr. Edeh expressed appreciation to the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for providing an enabling environment for effective governance. He highlighted the governor’s landmark interventions in education and healthcare, including the establishment of Smart Schools and Type 2 hospitals across all wards of the state, describing the projects as unprecedented in the history of Enugu State.

The lawmaker further pledged to sustain his empowerment initiatives, assuring constituents of continued support in areas such as education, healthcare, and social welfare, including the payment of school fees for indigent students.

The event attracted several dignitaries and stakeholders, among them the Executive Chairman of Aninri Local Government Area, Hon. Ugochukwu Nwanjoku; former Deputy Chairman of the council, Hon. Okey Njokuoti; party chairmen; clerics from various denominations; and community leaders. Others in attendance included Chief Udeokolie John Eneanya, National President of the Greater Awgu Ezuo Association; Mr. Casmir (UK-based); Hon. Ogbonna Ajah Emmanuel; Hon.
