The outreach, which has been extended to several wards across the constituency in 2025, including Abakpa, Ogwuagor, Trans-Ekulu, Akpuoga, Ikem, and Eha-Amufu, offered a broad range of medical services.

These included eye care with free medical glasses, Widal, malaria and typhoid tests, dental checks, blood pressure screening, general medical consultations, and the distribution of free medications to numerous beneficiaries.

In a major highlight of the exercise, over 300 people received free corrective glasses, fully sponsored by Prof. Nnamchi.

Speaking at the event, Prof. Nnamchi emphasized that access to quality healthcare remains a central pillar of his legislative agenda. He described the free medical outreach as an immediate intervention designed to address pressing health challenges within the constituency, while reaffirming his commitment to pursuing sustainable, long-term solutions, including the establishment of well-equipped hospitals across Enugu East/Isi Uzo Federal Constituency.

The outreach was met with widespread enthusiasm, as joyful songs and heartfelt expressions of gratitude filled the venue. Residents praised the initiative as timely and unprecedented, noting the significant relief it provided amid rising healthcare costs.

Beneficiaries particularly commended Prof. Nnamchi for prioritizing their health and wellbeing at a time when many can barely afford essential medical services.

As the medical outreach continues to tour communities across the constituency, expectations remain high that additional areas, including Ugwogo and Agbogazi, will soon benefit from the ongoing healthcare intervention.
