The well-attended outreach, which took place at his country home in Amankpume Ezinesi, Oduma, Aninri Local Government Area of Enugu State, brought relief and joy to hundreds of beneficiaries cutting across widows, the elderly, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable members of society.
Items distributed during the intervention included bags of rice, cartons of noodles, gallons of groundnut oil, onions, seasoning cubes (Maggi), thousands of brand-new wrappers, as well as cash gifts.
The gesture was widely described by community members as timely and impactful, especially in the face of prevailing economic challenges.
