Pedro Okwudili Nwankwo, has extended warm congratulations to the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, following his overwhelming victory and emergence as the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen, Hon. Nwankwo described Governor Mbah’s emergence as a historic and well-deserved victory that reflects the massive confidence reposed in his leadership capacity, developmental vision, and commitment to transforming Enugu State.
He stated that the outcome of the APC governorship primary election across the 260 wards of the state was a clear indication of the governor’s growing popularity, political strength, and acceptance among party faithful and the wider electorate.
According to the former Awgu Council Chairman, Governor Mbah has continued to distinguish himself through purposeful governance, infrastructural transformation, economic reforms, and people-oriented policies that have repositioned Enugu State on the path of sustainable growth and development.
Hon. Nwankwo further commended members of the APC for conducting themselves peacefully throughout the primary process, noting that the transparent and successful exercise has further strengthened the unity and democratic spirit within the party.
He expressed optimism that Governor Mbah’s candidacy would further consolidate the gains already recorded in the state while providing greater opportunities for inclusive development, youth empowerment, improved infrastructure, and economic prosperity.
The former council boss also called on party stakeholders, supporters, and the people of Enugu State to rally behind Governor Mbah in the collective pursuit of a more progressive, united, and prosperous future for the state.
He prayed for God’s continued wisdom, strength, and guidance upon Governor Mbah as he prepares for the 2027 gubernatorial election and the greater responsibilities ahead.
