Hundreds of youths across Aninri Local Government Area on Friday, July 24, 2026, turned out in large numbers as the Enugu State APC Youth Leader, Comr. Basil Ojengwa, led a solidarity rally in support of the Chairman of Aninri Local Government, Hon. Ugochukwu Nwanjoku, and the Member representing Aninri State Constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon. Engr. Magnus Edeh.

The rally, which moved across communities within Aninri Local Government Area, witnessed enthusiastic participation from youths who organically joined the procession, expressing their support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its leadership.
In a remarkable gesture of appreciation, Comr. Ojengwa provided fuel for hundreds of motorcycle riders who participated in the rally, topping up their fuel tanks as an incentive for the youths. The beneficiaries expressed gratitude and joyfully accompanied the APC convoy throughout the procession, creating a vibrant atmosphere of unity and solidarity.
During the event, Comr. Ojengwa placed a call to the Chairman of Aninri Local Government, Hon. Ugochukwu Nwanjoku, who addressed the youths and commended their impressive turnout and unwavering commitment to the party. He praised the organic support demonstrated by the young people and encouraged them to remain steadfast in advancing the ideals of the APC.
Receiving the youth delegation, Hon. Engr. Magnus Edeh warmly welcomed the participants and urged them to remain committed to the All Progressives Congress. He encouraged the youths to stay loyal to the party, emphasizing that their dedication would continue to yield democratic dividends for Aninri and Enugu State.
Hon. Edeh highlighted what he described as the developmental strides of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and other APC candidates, calling on the youths to sustain their support for leaders committed to the progress and development of the people.
Speaking during the rally, Comr. Basil Ojengwa commended Hon. Magnus Edeh for his warm reception and hospitality. He also joined the youths in reaffirming their solidarity and unwavering support for the APC leadership from the grassroots to the national level.
Ojengwa further applauded Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the Presidency, and other APC candidates for what he described as their numerous youth-centered initiatives and contributions toward empowering young people across the state and the country.
The rally concluded with chants of solidarity, music, and renewed commitment by participants to continue mobilizing support for the APC across Aninri Local Government Area.
