The distribution, which took place at his country home in Alo-Nike, Enugu East Local Government Area, attracted large numbers of constituents who arrived early in the day. Beneficiaries were organised into groups and dispatched in an orderly manner to ensure a smooth and transparent process.

To facilitate seamless distribution across wards and communities, Prof. Nnamchi also provided vehicles and other means of transportation, including tricycles (keke), to convey the items on behalf of the beneficiaries.

Addressing the gathering, the lawmaker urged his constituents to remain hopeful, assuring them that the coming year would be more fruitful and rewarding than the outgoing one. He reaffirmed his commitment to people-centred representation, stressing that his stewardship would continue to prioritise the welfare and aspirations of the people.

Prof. Nnamchi further announced with satisfaction that his bill for the establishment of a Federal University of Agriculture, Akon-Nike, had received the assent of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He disclosed that he was actively following up on the process to ensure the full actualisation of the institution.

According to him, the proposed university would significantly benefit Enugu East and Isi Uzo Federal Constituency, given their agrarian nature. He noted that the institution would boost agricultural production, enhance yields and create new opportunities for education and economic growth in the area.

The lawmaker also expressed deep appreciation for the consistent support and prayers of his constituents, which he said had contributed immensely to the success of his service.

Described by many as an annual tradition since he assumed office, the festive outreach was received with joy and gratitude by beneficiaries, reinforcing Prof. Nnamchi’s reputation for responsive and people-oriented leadership.
