
Today, Tuesday, 30th December 2025, the Honourable Member representing Enugu East & Isi Uzo Federal Constituency, Hon. Prof. Paul Sunday Nnamchi, warmly received the Women Leaders of Isi Uzo Local Government Area at his hometown, Ako Nike.
The solidarity visit aligns with Prof. Nnamchi’s well known annual tradition of availing himself during the festive period to engage directly with his constituents. Through these interactions, he meets with political, religious, traditional, and social groups to hold frank discussions on community development, politics, unity, and societal progress.

The women leaders, drawn from the various political wards across Isi Uzo Local Government Area, arrived with great enthusiasm, joy, chants of solidarity, and symbolic gifts in honour of the distinguished lawmaker renowned for his refined style of politics and people-centred representation.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the Woman Leader of Isi Uzo Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs. Judith Eze, described Prof. Nnamchi as a timely gift from God to the constituency, particularly to the people of Isi Uzo. She commended his outstanding leadership qualities and inclusive approach to representation, praying that God would grant him greater opportunities to continue serving the constituency, Enugu State, and the nation at large.
She further assured the Honourable Member that the women of Isi Uzo Local Government, whom the delegation represented, remain steadfast and committed to the success of his mandate, pledging their unwavering support throughout his divine call to service.
The delegation thereafter formally presented their gifts to Prof. Nnamchi and his family.
In his response, Hon. Prof. Paul Sunday Nnamchi expressed heartfelt gratitude to the women and the good people of Isi Uzo Local Government for their consistent support. He reaffirmed his commitment to people-oriented representation and prayed for a future where tomorrow would indeed be better than today for all.
The Wife of the Honourable Member, Dr. Mrs. Onyedikachi Nnamchi, also welcomed the women, appreciating them for their solidarity, prayers, and thoughtful gifts.
