Awgu Council Chairman, Hon. Okolo Hails High Chief Thomas Onyeagwa at 63, Describes Him as Pillar of Leadership and Humanity

The Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, Hon. Uchenna Joseph Okolo, has showered glowing tributes on elder statesman and philanthropist, High Chief Thomas Onyeagwa (Idejiuno na Mgbidi), as he clocks 63 years.

In a goodwill message released through his Special Adviser on General Media and Publicity, Hon. Tochukwu Chukwu, the Council Boss described High Chief Onyeagwa as “a man of rare vision, deep wisdom, and enviable humility whose exemplary life continues to inspire generations.”

Hon. Okolo lauded the celebrant’s remarkable contributions to community development, stressing that his passion for humanity and selfless service have earned him widespread admiration both within Awgu and beyond.

> “High Chief Onyeagwa represents the true essence of leadership and community service. His unwavering commitment to the welfare of our people, his generosity, and his love for humanity have impacted countless lives,” the Chairman stated.

Reflecting on their time together when he briefly served as Transition Committee Chairman with High Chief Onyeagwa as Deputy Chairman, Hon. Okolo recalled his invaluable advice, loyalty, and strength of character.

> “Those moments revealed his clarity of purpose, wise counsel, and unwavering dedication to the progress of Awgu LGA,” he added.

The Council Chairman prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the celebrant, wishing him good health, divine wisdom, and more fruitful years of service to humanity.
