Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, on his special day.
In a statement, Prof. Aloysius-Michaels Okolie, Vice Chancellor of ESUT, praised Governor Mbah’s bold, reform-driven, and digitally oriented leadership style, describing it as transformational for the state’s socio-economic growth. He noted that the Governor’s unwavering commitment to human welfare has positioned Enugu as one of Nigeria’s fastest-growing economies.
“Governor Mbah’s dedication to human capital development is unmatched, with education consistently receiving over 30% of the State’s annual budget for three consecutive years—well above UN benchmarks.” – Prof. Okolie
The University highlighted that Governor Mbah’s policies have directly strengthened the Education Sector, while his personal support for infrastructure development at the ESUT Teaching Hospital (Parklane) and the Permanent Site at Ebeano City has significantly enhanced teaching, research, and learning environments at Nigeria’s first University of Science and Technology.
