The Ije Awele Movement has congratulated the Governor of Enugu State, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, on the occasion of his 54th birthday, describing his administration as one defined by bold reforms, visionary leadership, and a strong commitment to good governance.

Obinna, the group said the birthday of the governor provides another opportunity for the people of Enugu State to reflect on what it described as remarkable progress and purposeful leadership under Mbah’s administration.
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Ije Awele Movement, Hon. Engr. Mike Ogbuekwe, praised the governor for what he called a transformative approach to governance, noting that the developmental policies being implemented across the state were already positioning Enugu for long-term economic growth.
Ogbuekwe said Governor Mbah has demonstrated uncommon political will in driving reforms that prioritize infrastructure development, economic expansion, and improved public service delivery. He noted that Governor Mbah has shown that leadership is about vision, courage, and commitment to the people, adding that the administration has set a clear direction for sustainable development in Enugu State while the results are gradually becoming evident across different sectors.
Also speaking, the Director General of the movement, Hon. Kingsley Ezinwa, described the governor as a leader whose policies are anchored on innovation, accountability, and inclusive governance.
Ezinwa stated that at 54, Governor Mbah represents a generation of leadership focused on results and transformation. He added that the governor’s dedication to building a modern and economically vibrant Enugu State is commendable, noting that residents are already witnessing the positive impact of his policies.
The Ije Awele Movement further reaffirmed its support for policies and initiatives that promote transparency, development, and people-oriented governance in Enugu State. The group also prayed for continued wisdom, strength, and good health for the governor as he continues to steer the affairs of the state.
